The First Photograph
The world's first photo made in a camera was taken in 1826 by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce. The photo was taken from the higher up windows of Niépce's bequest in the Burgundy area of France. This picture was caught through an interaction known as heliography, which utilized Bitumen of Judea covered onto a piece of glass or metal; the Bitumen than solidified in relation to the measure of light that hit it.
